FritForming Puffin – Various sizes and thicknesses
With this FritForming Puffin, you can give glass scraps and frit a new life in a distinctive, recognizable shape. The puffin's silhouette lends itself perfectly to playful color contrasts, transparency, and subtle details, giving your glass art a fresh and vibrant look.
The molds are available in both 4 mm and 7 mm thicknesses . The 4 mm versions are ideal for creating glass decals and individual glass elements that can later be incorporated into collages, bowls, panels, or other glass objects. The 7 mm versions are more suitable for standalone objects such as coasters, flat sculptures, and decorative shapes.
The mold also includes a design suggestion that can help you build your composition, while leaving plenty of room for your own creative input.

Important usage advice:
-
The molds must never be fired in the glass furnace .
-
Do not expose the molds to temperatures above 60 °C .
-
After use, clean the mold by first allowing any glass adhesive to dry completely. Then carefully brush away any remaining glass residue.
-
Never flush glass waste down the sink to prevent clogging and environmental impact.
For best results, we recommend using a specialized glass adhesive. Instructional videos are available explaining how to use the molds optimally. Firing schedules (for COE96 and COE90 glass) are also included as a guideline for achieving the best results, with minor adjustments possible for each kiln.
