Workshops
There are two workshops to follow:
- Basic traditional glass fusing course
- Basic modern glass fusing course
The basic traditional glass fusing course consists of covering a pre-made shape (already present at the start of the workshop). You will embellish the shape with colors and shapes.
The basic course in modern glass fusing consists of making a design of your choice in glass.
Below you will find all information about the workshops.
Basic course in traditional glass fusing
Duration: approximately 2-3 hours.
This workshop can be attended on Mondays, Saturday mornings or in the evenings.
The basic workshops give you a glimpse into the ins and outs of glass fusing.
The workshop consists of the following parts:
- Introduction
- What is glass fusing
- How to cut glass
- Selecting and covering the shape.
We work with a pre-made shape. You can choose from a Flower, Bird, Circle, Heart, Square, Butterfly, Dog, Cat.
There are also examples of drawings that can be used as an example.
If you have a shape idea yourself (this must be a silhouette) you can This must be discussed in advance to determine whether the form is possible. The additional cost for your own design is €10.
The workshop is given to a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 people.
The workshop costs €75 per person. There is coffee and tea.
You do not need to bring anything except warm clothing.

Maak je eigen koraal schaal
De workshop duurt ongeveer 2 uur en kost €50,- per persoon
Deze workshop is mogelijk op de dinsdagmorgen, donderdagmorgen, vrijdagmorgen, zaterdagmorgen te volgen.
De workshop bestaat uit de volgende onderdelen
- Introductie
- Wat is glasfusing
- Kleuren kiezen
- Ontwerp maken
Er wordt gewerkt met een sjabloon die je gaat bekleden met gekleurd glas. De schaal heeft een doorsnee van 17cm.
De workshop wordt gegeven aan minimaal 2 en maximaal 6 personen.
De workshop kost €50,- per persoon. Kom je met 3 personen dan betaal je €47,50,- per persoon en kom je met 4 of meer personen dan betaal je €45,- per persoon. Er is koffie en thee.
Je hoeft niets mee te nemen.
Omdat het werkstuk 2x24 uur in de oven moet, kan deze na 2 dag opgehaald worden.

Basiscursus traditioneel glassfusing
De workshop duurt ongeveer 3-4 uur en kost €80,- per persoon.
Deze workshop is mogelijk op de dinsdagmorgen, donderdagmorgen, vrijdagmorgen, zaterdagmorgen te volgen.
De basis workshops geeft je een kijkje in de keuken van glassfusing
De workshop bestaat uit de volgende onderdelen
- Introductie
- Wat is glasfusing
- Hoe snij je glas
- Vorm uitkiezen en bekleden
Er wordt gewerkt met een van te voren gemaakte vorm. Je kunt kiezen uit een IJsvogel, Vlinder, Hond, Poes, Vogel en Anker.
Mocht je zelf een vorm idee hebben (dit moet een silhouette zijn) dan kan dit vooraf besproken worden of de vorm mogelijk is. De meerprijs voor een eigen ontwerp is €10,-
Omdat het werkstuk 24 uur in de oven moet, kan deze na 1 dag opgehaald worden.
De workshop wordt gegeven aan minimaal 2 en maximaal 6 personen.
De workshop kost €80,- per persoon. Kom je met 3 personen €75,- per persoon en kom je met 4 of meer personen dan betaal je €70,- per persoon. Er is koffie en thee.

Basic course in modern glass fusing
Duration: approximately 4 - 5 hours
This workshop is given on Mondays and starts at 10:00 AM.
The basic modern glass fusing course gives you an inside look at the (somewhat unusual) working method I use to achieve a beautiful end product.
The workshop consists of the following parts
- Introduction
- What is glass fusing
- Choosing design and colors
- transferring design to glass
- Cutting glass
- Glass grinding
- Constructing in the oven
Because the workpiece has to be in the oven for 24 hours, it can be picked up after 1 day.
The workshop is given to a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 people.
The workshop costs €125 per person.
It is wise to wear warm clothing that you can get dirty. There is coffee and tea. You must bring your own lunch.
