How the Klik Fiks System Came to Life
From a practical challenge to a smart solution for glass and ceramic art

As a glass artist, I struggled for years with the same problem: how to hang glass or ceramic artworks safely and beautifully on the wall, without visible hardware or limitations in composition.
Most existing systems use hooks, which makes it impossible to display pieces overlapping or layered – something that adds depth and movement to a wall installation.

That’s why I decided to develop my own solution. The result is the Klik Fiks system: an innovative hanging system that works without a hook principle.
It consists of a male and female star-shaped connector that slide into each other, creating a strong and stable connection. A magnetic coupling provides an extra layer of strength and security.
Invisible hanging system
One of my main goals was to make the system discreet and almost invisible. For that reason, it’s made from transparent plexiglass – a durable yet subtle material that blends seamlessly with the artwork. It’s lightweight, long-lasting, and cost-effective, making Klik Fiks both practical and affordable.
Productline
Today, the Klik Fiks product line has grown into a range of solutions for both hanging and displaying glass and ceramic art. There are now risers that allow for overlapping arrangements and supports for larger pieces. The line continues to expand, driven by the needs and feedback of artists and users.
Development and production
Each Klik Fiks component is personally designed and produced in my glass studio in Doesburg, the Netherlands. What started as a personal search for a better hanging method has evolved into a versatile system that helps artists, galleries, and collectors showcase their work in the best possible way.
